As I was putting Butterfly to bed tonight she looked at me and told me she was going to be a big sister. Imagine how puzzling this was for me since I had no knowledge of this and no ability to make her a big sister. She continued on with the fact that SHE had a baby in her belly... "I'm not sure if it will be a girl or a boy Mama. It might have brown skin like me or pink like you. It might have curly hair or straight and it might even speak Spanish! I don't know if it's an India or America, but I know it's a baby... well a baby or a mermaid."
I think I may have a few things to clarify for her, well that and limit how many time a day she watches "The Three Bears and the New Baby"

She is a great friend for our Annalise that is asking God that she become a fairy.
Not sure if that means we need to read more of the Bible or less fairy tales. She is always educating us on Fairyland. The history, the language...She uses eraser dust as her pixie dust.
It will be a sad day indeed when these girls stop telling us their stories.
I hope she speaks Spanish!
